These are last year’s pictures, but hey, we do the same thing every year.  It works.

Grab a menu from the crate.  Find a small, wooden booth and get cozy.

Admire the old fashioned glass bottle sodas displayed…everywhere.

Cream Soda, Root Beer, Orange Crush?  Choose a good one.

Pop the top off on the side of your booth…

And take a long swig.  Wait, give your lady the first sip.

Share an order of onion rings.  Or try to, at least.

Push your guilt aside and order a chocolate malt (do not skip this step).

Walk around town until you find an adorable candy shoppe.  Yes, it has to be a shoppe.

Wind down the date by hitting up a local winery…

And buying a bottle of local berry wine. 

Make a toast in honor of annual summer dates.

And candy shoppes, onion rings, and extra large chocolate shakes (including what’s left in the metal mixing cup).
